Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and an obligatory act for every Muslim who has the means. The rituals of Hajj span five days from 8th to 12th Dhul-Hijjah, each day involving specific acts of worship and rites. Below is a complete day-by-day guide including important Masail (rulings) regarding Mina, Arafah, Muzdalifah, and the Jamaraat.
📅 Day 1 – 8th Dhul-Hijjah (Yawm at-Tarwiyah) – Mina
📝 What to Do:
Put on Ihram and make niyyah (intention) for Hajj.
Leave Makkah for Mina after Fajr.
Perform Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr (next day) in Mina (shortened but prayed at their respective times).
Engage in Dua, Tasbeeh, Tilawah, and Istighfar.
⚖️ Masail (Rulings):
Ihram for Hajj must be worn before leaving Makkah.
Salah is shortened (Qasr) but not combined.
Staying in Mina on the 8th is Sunnah Muakkadah.
